  A Picture of My Daughter

  here she is, my daughter, whose handle on this forum is roo!

  this photo was taken on the day of her birth.. she was born tuesday, january 29, at 9:05am.

  she weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

  i been out of the org a full 20 years.. what progress have i made?.

  well, im not angry anymore at the org.i dont even hate the gb.

  i learnt a lot from reading all those old watchtowers about mind control.

  My husband and I have been out for four years now and have accomplished a lot. We had a brand new house built, enrolled in college and belong to the Honors Society, have made some friends, reunited with out non-JW family, changed jobs for the better, but we still have a long way to go.

  It has actually been a great turning point in our lives leaving the borg. We were so fortunate to have gotten the break that we did.

  I turned my printer on getting ready to print part 14. After several minutes, I sat at my computer wondering why I turned it on in the first place, then remembered that Part 14 would be told yet another day. This is just too funny! I believe you really left your mark on this board.

  while attending the district convention at the cow palace in san francisco, the jw man who had brought me into the religion, told me that ray franz had resigned from the governing body, and several were disfellowshipped from bethel in a major cleaning out of apostates.

  i was shocked, and asked why ray franz would resign.

  I thoroughly enjoyed reading this piece. Amazing, you are an excellent writer. I really hate to read, but I read every word, every line, and every paragraph to the very tee. Thanks for that wonderful information! My husband experienced this same feeling at the bookstore. He indicated that he was looking around to see if anyone was looking when he ordered the book, and then when he went to pick it up he was afraid that someone would come to the counter at the time he was making his purchase.

  But WT could not get "cult" status if you all didn't feel that way.
